THE POSSESSIONS are a Brooklyn-based, soul-rock outfit, led by vocalist Tracy Eisenberg and guitarist/songwriter Frank Schiazza. Following the trail blazed by Delaney & Bonnie, the Allman Brothers, Aretha Franklin and others, The Possessions play a gritty, funky brand of rock/r&b that is familiar, yet all their own.

The band just released OCEAN BLUE, a dynamic 11-song set of driving blues and aching soul that is unlike anything else released in 2009 for its combination of intense rhythms, melodic hooks and sonic crunch.

OCEAN BLUE follows 2008's regional hit CAROUSEL - a 12-song endeavor of all-original music that put The Possessions on the map. The album was sold and featured on CDBaby, and received glowing reviews.
