THE BAND

TRACY EISENBERG: Lead Vocals

Tracy Eisenberg (lead vocals) is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY.

Her vocal training began in a Ford Taurus, singing along to her Aretha Franklin and Roberta Flack's "First Take" tapes on the way to dance class.

A dancer all her life, Tracy is influenced by an eclectic range of music which has added to her versatility has a vocalist.

She graduated with a degree in dance and relocated to Brooklyn, where she soon met gifted songwriter and musician, Frank Schiazza. An instant partnership was formed, and Tracy decided to bring her lifelong singing habit in from the periphery.

She is enormously grateful for that harmonious twist of fate; The Possessions.

FRANK SCHIAZZA: Guitars/Keyboards

Frank Schiazza is a guitarist/songwriter that has been in persuit of his craft for the better part of 20 years.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Frank caught the music bug early and never relented. He immediately fell in love with what he calls "earth" music - bands like the Allman Brothers, the Black Crowes, Mountain, the Marshall Tucker Band and the Beatles.

He spent his teen years playing up and down the East Coast with various bands, but began to focus on songwriting and record production at the onset of his 20's, and has since transformed himself into a complete musical package.

As a songwriter, he has been extremely prolific: aside from being the main songwriter in the Possessions, he has also released eight solo albums of all original music.

Aside from playing with the Possessions, Schiazza is also a member of the Ginobilis, and also maintains a solo career, where he focuses more on country and roots music. He is also a full-time producer, having produced records for Dan McQuade, Jennie Cini, Kristina Fetkovich and John Henry Olthoff, and is currently working on the debut album of Carin Gorrell.

DAVE CIOLINO: Drums

Dave "the Volcano" Ciolino is, at only 22 years old, already the de-facto drummer of the Brooklyn Country scene, playing in bands ranging from the Newton Gang to the Dirt Floor Revue to Lindy Loo's Country Cuzins, and even Hollerin' Baby Davis & the Jailhouse Crackers w/ Frank Schiazza, which is where the two met last year.

Aside from his country roots, Dave shares Frank & Tracy's affinity for hard-driving R&B, and when he first played with the Possessions at a Fundraiser gig in September of 2008, it was evident that the band had found their drummer.

"Dave is really an engine back there," said Schiazza. "He's not 'busy' to where he gets in the way, but he fills in all the spaces in our songs and he holds down a mammoth groove."

ROB CARPENTER: Bass

Rob Carpenter is the most recent addition to the Possessions, joining just in time for the release of Ocean Blue.

Rob and Frank have played together in bands since the mid-90's, most prominently in Zoy, a hard-rock outfit that was one of the most electric and ecclectic bands of the 1990's NY alternative scene.

The band broke up in 1997, but Carpenter and Schiazza played together in various other bands. Rob also writes and produces, and has spent the last few years writing and producing music for Nickelodeon.

Still, Rob's main bag is bass, where he combines themelody of Paul McCartney with the groove and muscle of Allen Woody.

"Rob & I have a chemistry that's hard to describe, but easy to pick up on when you watch us play," said Schiazza. "He cut his teeth on progressive rock and driving hard-rock, so he's as skilled as they come. He's also extremely musical, with a great ear. He's just a fantastic musician."
